Tiger 2 is the best. If they had been able to produce enough they may have changed the war but...that goes for about every other thing made by the germans. They just won't enough of them for their true potential to exist.

Obviously, the Pz. II is miles from getting just as good as the Pz. VI Tiger, but remember that the PZ. II was the coe of the german Panzerdivisions in the early years of the war.

Errr.....Where is the Pz.35(t), Pz.38(t) and the Pz.III.  These tanks were very important indeed in the early part of the war, forming the bulk of the German tank force.

More importantly (to me at least) where is the Panther?    protest

The best German tank of the war was, without any shadow of doubt in my mind, the Panther Ausf G (Late).  It's 75mm KwK 42 L/70 gun was better than the Tiger I's KwK 36 L/56 and was only marginally inferior to the Tiger II's 88mm KwK 43 L/71.  With the elimination of the shot trap beneath the gun mantlet the frontal aspect of the Panther became almost impenetrable to most Allied anti-tank guns at typical combat ranges.  The Panther on the other hand was able to easily hit and penetrate most of it's opponents, with the first shot, at similar ranges. The Panther G was highly mobile and reasonably reliable, certainly far more reliable than the Tiger II and far less likely to collapse bridges under it's own weight.   Put it this way, the Soviets used Panthers in combat formations whenever they could accquire them.....This was not the case with the Tiger I or II.

For what it's worth & all the best
PS - The Goliath was a mobile land-mine!
PPS - Pz.IV F2 Special (side skirts)?  Do you mean the Pz.IV Ausf G (Late)?
