The eve of the German oofensive in the West in 1940, a group of 100 German troops landed at the Fort of Eben Emael in Belgium. Big fort which had hundreds of soldiers there and the Germans landed right on top in gliders and captured the fort with small losses!!
Thats german precsision for you, i dont think the german's get enough credit, because all in all, the german army was better run than any of the allied armies, with generals that really went through general school and took real theory classes using new, better tactics. _________________ We Need more members! Hitler believed that Germany's greatest asset was its Officer corps as they were highly disciplined and would never dis-obey (most of the time ), but it was also their worst asset during the final years... for example D-Day, German Tanks commanders knew where to attacketc but their were waiting to be ordered into battle instead of using their initive they waited for the generals to send them in.
