The 25lb was one of the most effective artillery pieces ever designed it had a very long operational life and the British even went as far to remove American 105mm guns from their M7 Priests and installed 25lb to become the Sexton self propelled gun. This was a very effective artillery piece and I think it was one of the most effective of the war.
